Course info
Our schools posses classrooms for up to 25 students that are totally equiped and air conditioned. It provides access to its multimedialibrary, books, videos, cassettes, etc.
The TEFL course lasts 4 weeks and you will be in contact with all the techniques required to teach effectively once you start your teaching career. During the course you will have to teach classes to non-native students under the supervision of your trainers who will give you a constant feedback over your performance.
During the course you will learn how to make a correct Lesson Planning. We´ll cover the different skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Grammar and Vocabulary, so you can teach them confidently.
Class Management and English for specific Purposes, Teacher Behaviour. Teaching Business, Children, First Certificate... will come later, and from the first week you will be set in a real class so you can observe and teach, always under the supervision of your trainer.
It is a very demanding course. We start at 9:30 am and finish at around 5:00 pm. You will need to work on the course after leaving the school.
Applicants don't need to have any teaching experience to join the course but must have an accurate control on both written and spoken English. If you are someone who has already some experience the course will help you to maximise your classes, and give the best of you to your students.
During your TEFL course you will recive a few hours of basic Spanish classes and some hints about Madrid or Valencia, to help you move around the city.
